SSC CGL 2025 Application Form: Big news for all the applicants who are waiting for SSC CGL 2025 exam. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the application form for the SSC CGL Exam 2025. The notification was out on 9th June 2025. The SSC CGL exam 2025 application started from 9th June 2025 and the last date to apply is 4th July 2025. This exam is for filling the various group B and C posts in central government departments and ministries.

SSC CGL 2025 Exam Eligibility Criteria

There are certain eligibility criteria for the exam; candidates must fulfil these criteria in order to sit in the exam and get the job.

  1. Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in any academic discipline from a recognized university. For other education requirements, you can refer to the official SSC CGL 2025 notification.
  2. Candidate must be between 18 to 32 years of age. The age may vary as per the post, age relaxation, and other rules.

SSC CGL Exam 2025 Application Fee

Applicants have to pay a minimal application fee for the SSC CGL exam. Here are the details:

  • For General / OBC / EWS, INR 100 has to be paid as the application fee.
  • For SC / ST / PwD / Ex-Servicemen / Female Candidates, no fee is required.
  • The fee can be paid through BHIM UPI, net banking, and credit/debit cards.

SSC CGL Documents Upload Guidelines

Applicants have to upload the required documents in the format per the SSC rules.

  • Photographs should be between 20 KB to 50 KB in size and dimensions should be 100×120 pixels.
  • For signature, the size should be between 1 KB to 12 KB and the dimensions should be 40×60 pixels.

Note: Please make sure to upload the recent photographs and the signature should be clearly visible.

How to Apply for SSC CGL 2025 Exam

Candidates have to follow the steps mentioned below to apply for the SSC exam 2025. 

  1. Applicants need to visit the official website of the SSC: https://ssc.gov.in/
  2. Now, click on the Apply tab.
  3. Login using One Time Registration (OTR) credentials. For candidates who have not registered yet, they have to register first.
  4. Now, candidates have to fill out the required information in the application form. Provide correct information in every field.
  5. After filling the form, candidates have to upload the Photograph and Signature as per the required format.
  6. Now, pay the application fee (no application fee for the SC / ST / PwD / Ex-Servicemen / Female Candidates)
  7. After paying the fee, review and submit the form.
  8. Applicants must download and print the confirmation page.
