3. Assistant Manager (Rolling Stock): Applicants need to have BE/BTech in Electrical Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, Power Electronics, or Instrumentation.
4. Assistant Manager (Traction): Candidate must possess BE/BTech in Electrical, Electrical and Electronics, Industrial Electronics, or Power Electronics.
5. Assistant Manager (UG-E&M): Applicants must need BE/BTech in Electrical, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, Power Electronics or Instrumentation.

GMRC Recruitment 2025 Age Criteria 

Applicants need to adhere to the age criteria as of 21st May 2025. Here we have provided the age criteria for the same:

1. For the position of Joint General Manager, the maximum age is 50 years for a contract basis and 58 years for deputation. 
2. For the post of Deputy General Manager, the maximum age is 45 years for a contract basis and 58 years for deputation.
3. For the role of Assistant Manager, the maximum age limit is 32 years. 

If candidates fall in these age categories, they can apply for the examination.

GMRC Recruitment 2025 Experience Requirement

1. For the role of the Joint General Manager, the candidate must have a minimum of 14 years (12 for the deputation) post qualification experience in Government or PS,U along with at least 4 years in Operations and Maintenance of Railway or Metro systems.
2. For the post of Deputy General Manager, candidates need a minimum of 10 years of post qualification experience in a private organisation or they can have 8 years of experience in Government or PSU.
3. The role of Assistant Manager requires a minimum of 7 years of post qualification supervisory experience in a private organisation or 5 years of experience in the Government or PSU. 

GMRC Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
