UGC NET June 2025 Application Process
Candidates who are willing to apply for the UGC NET exam must visit the official NTA website: https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in/. You can follow these application processes in order to fill the application form with ease.
Step 1: Visit the official website, and then click on the ‘New Registration’ link.
Step 2: Here, you have to provide your name, Email ID, Mobile Number, and other details asked in the form. Make sure to provide the correct information.
Step 3: Verify the mobile number and Email ID using the OTP you will receive.
Step 4: Once you are done, submit it and then you will get the application number and password.
Step 5: Login using the application number and password.
Step 6: Now you will get the form, fill the form by providing all the details asked in the form in a correct manner.
Step 7: Upload your passport size photo, signature as per the size mentioned in the form.
Step 8: Pay the application fee using the online payment methods provided.
Step 9: You will be redirected to the confirmation page, download it for the future reference.
NTA UGC NET June 2025 Exam Application Fee
Students have to pay the application fee for the NTA UGC NET exam. Here are the details about the fees.
- General/Unreserved Category: INR 1,150
- General – EWS/OBC-NCL Category: INR 600
- SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender: INR 325
Note: Students must know that application fee is a non refundable amount.
NTA UGC NET June 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Here are the eligibility criteria for NTA UGC NET June 2025 exam.
- Candidates applying for NTA UGC NET July must have passed the post graduation program with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD/Third Gender). Degrees should be from UGC recognized institutions/universities.
- For JRF, age should not be more than 30 years as of June 1, 2025. There are age relaxation as well as per the official notifications.
- For assistant professor post there is no upper age limit.
